"La Ruta de la Tapa" (Tapa's Route) in Mijas, born in 2007 as an initiative of several Restaurants and Bars to attract people and offering them fun, gifts and savor one of the curiosities typical of southern Andalusia (spread throughout Spain today).
Over the years it has become an essential initiative in offering summer the town of Mijas, which attracts a multitude of people torn between curiosity and the quality of products offered.
On Tuesday July 3, was launched this annual event that draws attention to all those who tread Mijas on the dates of summer, and its inhabitants. It is both attractive and delicious, and invites go bar to bar until a total of 20, creating the Route.
Each Bar/Restaurant or other (included in the Route), offers participants two "Tapas", one cold and one hot and using the "Tapaporte" each establishments will indicate using a stamp your assistance and thus be able to opt a gift.
To get the "Tapaport" you can go to the Tourist Office at City Hall or any of the establishments listed on the Route (there are 20 establishments to choose from). REMEMBER, and this is very important that you should deliver the "Tapaport" in the same office of tourism once completed to opt for "good" awards.
