We have received with great joy and pleasure, the Tripadvisor recognition thanks to the recommendations of our customers. And for this reason, we need to thank you the confidence shown. Many visitors to Malaga, Andalucia, Spain, have decided to visit us because of the consultations in the Tripadvisor site.

It is pleasant, yes, a recognition of this type, though it may seem subtle, encourages us to move forward with new projects, projects, which of course, will have your approval ... as you will understand by now, we will not pass over our best "guinea pigs".

Why Tripadvisor?

Well, many of you may have heard of them, a company with an upward trajectory and that has managed to convince travelers each country, to those who like to enjoy safety and knowledge of the chosen destinations.

Mijas is a great destination for visitors, tourists whether local, national or international. All find what they want: good food, souvenirs, nice people, relax, ... We spent a summer moved between Tapa's Route Mijas 2012 and evening cultural events, this has moved many people, not only by the fact that has been during the summer, but for once in Mijas, have been able to enjoy every corner , giving no respite to rest. All this has meant that visitors have submitted their reviews, news and photos of the various parts of the town of Mijas, and one of its destinations has been Tripadvisor.

Hi friends. Today we decided to write this blog without more reason than to thank all of you, people of other hearths, you come and join us, you to come saying that you have heard of us, telling us that one day you sought on the Internet and you found us there (THANKS GIRLS UNKNOWN FROM VALENCIA), or better, that you may have wrong the way and ended up here, ;p. Thanks for coming to enjoy our company, to enjoy this town, and in this land of ours. Thanks for have fun with us and send us photos and memorabilia. Thanks for you can feel like at home.

Is part ONE? Yes, why not? Do not you realize that every gesture of gratitude is a gift, no one told you about? Part ONE because it will not be the last time we have things to be grateful.

It is also true that today we opened nine months ago, nine months of a new stage of "EL REFUGIO", three quarters of our first year with its ups and downs and entertainments ... but the real celebration is to be there ... you with us and viciversa.

We just want you to continue with the subtle details and happiness it gives us every time you appear in the door, you send us an email, an invitation or a picture, because that means you're there, and that is very important.

And we do not want this post is too long to give many more thanks (we would basically just give them one by one ... but that does not end up ever) ...

TAPA'S ROUTE

"La Ruta de la Tapa" (Tapa's Route) in Mijas, born in 2007 as an initiative of several Restaurants and Bars to attract people and offering them fun, gifts and savor one of the curiosities typical of southern Andalusia (spread throughout Spain today).

Over the years it has become an essential initiative in offering summer the town of Mijas, which attracts a multitude of people torn between curiosity and the quality of products offered.

On Tuesday July 3, was launched this annual event that draws attention to all those who tread Mijas on the dates of summer, and its inhabitants. It is both attractive and delicious, and invites go bar to bar until a total of 20, creating the Route.

Each Bar/Restaurant or other (included in the Route), offers participants two "Tapas", one cold and one hot and using the "Tapaporte" each establishments will indicate using a stamp your assistance and thus be able to opt a gift.

To get the "Tapaport" you can go to the Tourist Office at City Hall or any of the establishments listed on the Route (there are 20 establishments to choose from). REMEMBER, and this is very important that you should deliver the "Tapaport" in the same office of tourism once completed to opt for "good" awards.

"La Ruta de la Tapa" presents the following offer in each bar or establishment visited:

One tapa and a drink for € 1.50
